There is one thing that turns your ordinary performance into extraordinary results and that is being effective.

I want to teach you some key skills sets and areas to focus on that will take your ordinary performance to extraordinary. All you need to do is be disciplined enough to follow the guidance Ill outline in this blog.

If you want to advance your life, your business, career and relationships this skill is a must have for you to develop over time. Most people that get good at being effective often see their influence, impact, and income rise as a result.

Unfortunately many won't do what I am about to outline because it will say easy but do hard.

Being effective allows you to efficiently work towards and achieve your personal and professional goals.

Everything you desire in life begins with a goal you desire to achieve. Being effective involves using resources, time, and efforts optimally to achieve the desired results.

Many won't learn to be effective because it will require:

  • Optimizing your time for the essentials.

  • Knowing the desire result needed to achieve.

  • Knowing and optimizing strengths.

  • Focusing on the 20% that delivers 80% of the result.

But all of this can be overcome by switching to being effective instead of busy.

Here's how, step by step:

Step 1: Where did your time go!

Want to effectively manage your time? Start by knowing where it's really going.

Spend 1-2 weeks tracking your time without judgment. Simply record how you spend each moment.

Once you've completed this exercise, take a seat and categorize your time. Work, family, fun, dreams... Whatever resonates with you. The goal is to see which areas are receiving the most attention.

Now, ask yourself: Is this really the best use of my time? If not, identify where your time should truly be invested and make a plan to prioritize those important things.

Step 2: Results matter prioritize impactful outcomes.

Results matter, but not all results are created equal. It's crucial as a leader to identify the ones that truly make a difference.

Ask yourself: Which results have the greatest impact on the business? Which ones drive real progress? Don't be fooled by mere effort - it's good, but it means nothing if it doesn't produce the intended outcome.

Imagine this: Would you continue to pay someone who consistently falls short of delivering the desired results? Of course not! You'd find someone better suited for the job.

So, focus your energy on delivering the results that truly matter. Be the leader who gets things done and drives the success of the business.

Step 3: Recognize your strengths and capitalize them.

You will excel in the areas of your strengths. Know them and find ways to leverage those strengths.

If you are good at business strategy, you need to find ways to leverage that skill set towards the impactful outcomes your business desires.

The key is knowing your strengths so that you can make decisions to maximize them and utilize the strengths in others for the common good.

In every situation, look for ways to leverage your strengths, seize opportunities in areas of strength, and build upon your strengths.

Step 4: All task are not equal.

Want to supercharge your productivity? Here's the secret: out of the 10 things on your to-do list, only 2 of them will bring in a whopping 80% of the desired results.

Imagine if you could identify those key tasks and prioritize them with laser-like focus. It's like juggling balls - some are rubber, they'll bounce back if dropped. But others are delicate glass balls that, once shattered, can never be the same.

Mastering the 80/20 mindset takes time, but once you do, you'll be able to tune out the noise, eliminate distractions, and accomplish more in less time.

In conclusion decide today to embrace effectiveness and unlock exceptional results.

Optimize your time. Prioritize impactful outcomes. Leverage your strengths. Focus on essential tasks. Elevate your productivity. Achieve remarkable success.

Don't shy away from challenges – embrace effectiveness and watch every aspect of your life elevate.
