The truth is opportunity will coming knocking on our door at some point in life. The great news is we all have the opportunity to get ahead at some point in life.

But the better question is will you be ready for it? The only person that can answer that question is you. But I want to be your leadership coach and help guide you to being ready for when opportunity knocks.

Now we all won't have the "same" opportunities and often the size of the opportunity depends on choices even though some things will be outside of our control.

No matter what though you as a leader must take ownership of your life choosing to move forward despite circumstance. You will find that your success in life will be dependent on the opportunities you take, not on the number of changes.

Today leader, just decide to pay the price, put in the time, and action necessary to maximize whatever opportunity you have currently and will have in the future.

Lets cover some ways you can rise to success and be prepared for when opportunity knocks.

If you reap what you sow, are you sowing what you want to reap?

Your opportunity that comes your way will either be the accumulation of what you have sowed or more than you have sowed.

For you the key is making sure you are sowing what you want to reap daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. You need to focus on the inputs while having your mindset on the harvest you want to reap from sowing.

Learn to look at life from the view point of this powerful principal based off of the harvest you desire. For instance, if you want to lead larger teams you need to be preparation of that now. You need to be speaking with those leading larger teams, reading books about how to lead large teams, and find ways to gain experience leading large teams.

Imagine you getting the opportunity but losing it due to you not being prepared to handle all what comes with leading large teams.

You can attract opportunity to you.

Leaders do you want to attract the right opportunities to you and to your team?

We have all heard the quote of, "be so good they can't ignore you". You attract opportunities to yourself by making yourself so useful and efficient in what you are now doing that opportunities come to you.

Leaders you do this by following the first principle of sowing into the harvest you want to reap. You must embrace being strategic in becoming excellent in what you do, gaining the right experience, and lastly delivering results that cannot be dismissed.

Remember each day you rise is an opportunity for you to attract the type of opportunity you desire.

Opportunity will knock but will you be prepared to take advantage of it?
